Slim Thug's My Boss Life Series: Introduction
What is #MyBossLife? You don’t have to be rapper or an athlete to be successful. Slim Thug and The Boss Life Team created a documentary series to motivate and inspire people to do something different, and be a BOSS. You should be excited to go to work, this documentary series might just have you quitting your 9-5. I got the opportunity to create the conversation and interview a couple of bosses, check it out!

Throw Back Thursday: My 1st Interview w/ Jata
THROW BACK THURSDAY W/ @jatayoung
Im going to throw it back to my very first interview with the one and only Aye Jay now known as Jata Young. This interview was held at Discovery Green Park after the 4th annual “A Night To Remember” concert ! Be on the look out for the OPA Festival which will be held August 1st-3rd, 2014. In this interview Aye Jay and I discuss his music and what he has planned for the future. He will also be performing for the 5th time at “A Night To Remember” this year, so be on the look out! I recently asked Jata Young what he’s been up to and this is what he had to say :
“I’m on Amber London’s new mixtape on a few tracks and she gave me my first producer placement on "Bad Azz Rich Kids” Which well be shooting a video for soon. I’m planning on producing a lot of tracks on 4 Live and putting it out independently. I’m pretty much past mixtapes the mixtape stage and ready to turn it all the way up. I got a few other things brewing that I kinda gotta keep confidential for now. By ima drop a mixtape in between now and 4Live but my main focus is putting my best foot forward & making 4Live a album comparable to “Reasonable doubt” or “All Eyez On Me"… Without a label or the support from big time houston Dj’s artist and radio ..”

I will always support local artist with GOOD music, I love to see people put forth their all and share their god given talent with the world. If you have a special talent don’t hold back because success is on the other side of fear.
“ Greatness is not this wonderful, esoteric, elusive, god-like, feature that only the special among us will ever taste. It’s something that truly exists in all of us. It’s very simple. This is what I believe, and I’m willing to die for it”

HOUSTON’S BEST KEPT SECRETS: BAPS SHRI SWAMINARAYAN MANDIR
I am rediscovering my beloved hometown, Houston Texas. If you know anyone from Houston, you know we are absolutely IN LOVE with our city. I plan to go to all of Houston’s best-kept secrets. All of our wonderful restaurants, bars, museums, clubs, concerts, parks, events, basically wherever the universe takes me. I’m not a photographer and probably never will be, so please bare with me. Number one on the list of Houston’s “Best Kept Secrets” is BAPS SHRI SWAMINARAYAN MANDIR. This is the first Hindu Mandir of its kind in The United States of America. I am not Hindu. I am a strong spiritual Christian, who believes that everyone has a right to believe in what they want. I believe We should worry less about division and focus on what truly matters. I love studying other cultures and religions, to gain knowledge and insight. Remember, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. Every sacred text is trying to tell us the same thing, to be a good moralistic human being. To be a human being that believes and has hope for better days. They may have a different story line, sacred text, god, or ritual but still get this beautiful message across. I want to quickly share what I gained from this experience, other than being able to see something so beautiful.
1) Hindu temples are not about religion, they are about spirituality. A man there told me he was Christian and does believe in God but goes there for serenity, peace, reflection, and meditation sometimes.
2) NO PHONES IN TEMPLES, I almost got in trouble for that one trying to get a cute picture for the gram. ( yikes )
3) I actually heard someone use the term “Namaste”. The people who are in the temple for “worship” put their hands in a prayer pose and bow their head saying “Namaste”, every time you pass them. It is basically a greeting and respect thing. You don’t conduct full blown conversations in the temple because it is a time for yourself and your thoughts. Simply say “Namaste” and keep it moving.
4) Keep an open mind and an open heart.
5) It's almost impossible to have pride and peace. They just do not go together. I’ll explain this later.
